Engineering Manager

This company is a leading personal care manufacturing company dedicated to creating high-quality and innovative personal care products. They are currently looking for an Engineering Manager to join our team and contribute to our continued growth and success.


Key responsibilities:

  • Create and execute strategies to enhance the efficiency of our manufacturing technologies and equipment, including SCADA, PLC, and MES systems.
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians in the effective operation and maintenance of technology and facilities, providing support to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify improvement opportunities and implement technological solutions that boost productivity, lower costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Establish and manage maintenance schedules for all technological systems and factory utilities to ensure timely inspections, servicing, and repairs, while also overseeing spare parts management.
  • Supervise the installation and commissioning of new technologies and equipment, ensuring seamless integration into manufacturing processes.
  • Work with external partners, including suppliers and contractors, to ensure engineering projects meet high-quality standards and deadlines.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and areas for improvement, developing action plans as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations, including regular maintenance of fire extinguishers, pest control, and security systems. Additional training or certifications may be required for operating factory facilities safely.

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a liquid manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of SCADA, PLC, and MES systems, as well as manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations.
