Energy Executive

Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Continuously collect, track, and analyze energy consumption data.

  • Ensure proper implementation and compliance of the Energy Management System (EnMS).

  • Monitor and evaluate EnMS performance and execution.

  • Prepare and submit Energy Efficiency & Conservation (EE&C) reports with accurate data.

  • Recommend energy-saving initiatives and oversee their implementation.

  • Review and work with energy audit reports prepared by Registered Energy Auditors (REA).

  • Maintain proper documentation and records for compliance and reporting purposes.

  • Perform additional duties as required by the Energy Commission.

Key Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of EnMS development, implementation, and monitoring (based on guidelines).

  • Understanding of Measurement & Verification (M&V) methods related to energy-saving measures.

  • Ability to review and assess energy audit reports for submission to the Energy Commission.

  • Competent in extracting and managing data for annual EE&C reporting.

  • Good communication skills to engage with stakeholders, including management.

  • Ability to maintain structured records for compliance with regulatory requirements (EECA 2024).

Added Advantages:

  • Familiarity with ISO standards, especially ISO 50001.

  • Team-oriented mindset.

  • Degree in a relevant field with 3+ years of experience.

  • Certification such as REM Type II or equivalent.
