Director of Retail

A rapidly growing Malaysian fashionwear brand is looking for an experienced Retail Director to join the team as part of the Senior Management team.

About this role:

Reporting to the CEO, this role will be responsible for managing retail operations and establishing a high level of training and development of employees.

Responsibilities:

• Managing retail operations, ensuring a high level of efficiency and quality.
• Monitor staff operations, maintaining a high level of training and development of retail staff.
• Contribute to the development of Sales and Branding strategies through the analysis of sales reports.
• Retail planning and development to secure a consistent and stable growth of the company.
• Ensure that retail sales targets are achieved.

Requirements:

• 8 -10 years of management experience in the retail industry.
• Experience in leading a team of at least 50 employees. (including indirect reports)
• Bachelor's Degree in any related field would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Strong business sense and commercial awareness.
