Developer , Core Banking (AS400)

Job description

Responsibilities:

Creating technical documents and compiling comprehensive documentation and reports as needed.
Designing and developing applications based on change requests and project requirements.
Designing and maintaining software databases/tables, encompassing Software Applications, Data Flows, and User Interfaces.
Testing, maintaining, and suggesting software enhancements for improved functionality and optimization.
Collaborating with the production support team to conduct root cause analysis, review code, and perform unit testing.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
At least 6 years of software development experience, preferably in core banking.
Extensive knowledge in service management and production support.
Experience with Agile and DevOps practices is a plus.
Technical expertise in AS400/RPG/COBOL/DB2 architecture and ALDON.
Familiarity with Silverlake's banking software suite is advantageous.
