Deputy General Manager (Logistics)

Our client is one of the leading companies when it comes to the logistics industry. Due to expansion plans, they are currently looking for a Deputy General Manager to join their growing company. This role will be based in Selangor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day logistics and operational activities, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services.
• Assist the General Manager in the development and execution of strategic business plans to achieve organisational goals and drive growth.
• Strengthen relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and exploring opportunities for service expansion or improvement.
• Identify opportunities for process optimisation and cost reduction, implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Experience in the Freight Forwarding/Logistics industry.
• Excellent People Management skills (>20 headcount)
• Proven experience in overseeing large-scale logistics operations and managing cross-functional teams.
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyse and improve operational and financial performance.
