Costing Manager (Based in Klang)

About our client:

Our client is a multinational consumer products manufacturing company in Malaysia who is looking to hire an experienced Costing Manager, who will be responsible for full spectrum of finance and costing matters for the assigned legal entity(s) in the company. The successful candidate will be supporting and reporting directly to the CFO and COO, based in Klang.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be very close to the founders and with career progression opportunities:

• Responsible for preparing, building and simulation of product costings, with close liaison with the operations team.
• Detailed analysis on financial and manufacturing reports, at the same time looking into efficiency and cost-saving initiatives.
• Prepare and deliver management accounts, forecast and budgeting and any ad hoc reports required by the management.
• Lead the stock counts and any asset valuation activities.
• Actively participate and suggest internal controls and compliance matters.
• Creation of new templates, automations and training the team members as and when required.
• Perform in ad-hoc assignments as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Possess Degree in Finance/Accountancy or professionally qualified accountant ie. ACCA, CPA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant financial reporting and costing, in the manufacturing industry.
• Possess people management experience.
• Possess strong interpersonal, proactive and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and communication skills in English.
