About our client:

Our client is in the multinational consumer manufacturing industry, with an established presence in Malaysia. They are looking to hire an experienced Assistant Manager - Costing, who will be responsible for costing matters for the assigned legal entity(s) in the company. This role will be supporting and reporting directly to Finance Manager, based in Nilai.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for preparation of product costing and production cost analysis.
  • Close collaboration with sales and marketing on pricing of products.
  • Involvement in forecast and budgeting on matters related to COGS, expenses and costing.
  • Responsible for overseeing inventory controls while working closely with supply chain team.
  • Assist accounting team on financial reports in relation to costing and cost analysis.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties and assignments as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant costing experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Possess Bachelor's Degree or professional qualification ie. ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • Possess strong critical thinking, independent and ability to lead the team.
  • Excellent written and communication skills in Mandarin and English.
