Contracting_Finance Executive GL

Job description

  • Handle month-end and year-end closing activities, balance sheet reconciliation and schedules.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, perform monthly variance and trend analysis to ensure accounting records and systems comply with approved accounting standards
  • Assist in preparing company budget and forecasts of P&L, cash, taxes etc.
  • Plan GL closing activities and send monthly closing timetable to all stakeholders
  • Prepare all financial information strictly in line with the accounting records and for local statutory / legal requirements
  • Execute the closing options validated by the CFO
  • Prepare balance sheet schedule
  • Provide accurate financial data to auditors
  • Assist in performing integrity checks of interfaces fuelling the accounting system if any
  • Contribute to lead finance projects as appropriate
  • Assist in ensuring an effective internal control system in the accounting, closing and reporting
  • Liaise with auditors, banker, company secretary and tax agent to ensure compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards and statutory requirements?
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and system comply with approved accounting standards and internal control process that adherence with company's policies and procedures?

To undertake any ad-hoc tasks requested by superior from time to time
