Commercial Manager

Job description

An established distributor of hardware and home appliances is seeking for a Commercial Manager to join their team as part of their business expansion. You will be responsible for leading the retail business in channel expansion, championing sales growth, and go-to-market plans.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and lead the national sales strategy to drive channel expansion within modern trade.
2. Manage P&L for retail business and drive for YoY growth for sell-in, sell-out, and margin profitability.
3. Prepare annual sales budget and forecast as well as business plan presentations.
4. Work closely with commercial head to identify prospective business opportunities, competitive advantages, and go-to-market tactics.
5. Monitor trade spend, trading terms, and promotions to ensure products remain competitive edge.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Holds a Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Business or similar.
  • At least 3 - 5 years of experience in Business Development/Sales or similar role within FMCG / Consumer Electronics.
  • Passionate in sales with proven track record.
  • Strong sense of business acumen and ownership.
