COBOL Developer

Job Responsibilities:

• Analysis of user stories and assessment of changes required in the system.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Retrospective)
• Story points estimation and sub-task estimation.
• Design program specifications aligning to COBOL/JCL coding best practices for efficient system performance
• Perform Cobol/CICS program coding and testing
• Familiar with JIRA/ Confluence updates
• User Acceptance Testing support that includes test environment set- up/configuration, batch execution and responding to business queries and clarifications.

Job Requirements:

• At least 5 years' experience in COBOL Development
• Articulate in English, both verbally and in writing
• Experience in COBOL, JCL, VSAM, MVS, CICS
• Good to have JAVA, API
• Possess self-initiative and work with minimal supervision
• Working experience in Core Banking/Credit Card/ Debit Card System
