About our client:
Our client is a premier Southeast Asian telecommunications distributor. As CIO, you will architect and execute the regional technology roadmap, optimizing ERP and enterprise platforms to drive digital transformation and scalable business growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a regional IT roadmap that aligns with global business goals and ensures technology investments yield measurable ROI.
  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle (implementation to optimization) of core systems, specifically SAP ERP and new Business Support Systems (BSS).
  • Lead a diverse, multi-geographical team spanning Infrastructure, DevOps, QA, Solutions Architecture, and Support.
  • Manage regional IT infrastructure while enforcing strict cybersecurity controls and governance frameworks like ISO27001.
  • Drive innovation by integrating emerging technologies (AI, Cloud, Analytics) and automation to improve operational efficiency.
  • Accountable for the planning and utilization of CAPEX and OPEX budgets to support short and long-term organizational scaling.
  • Manage third-party relationships, including contract negotiations and SLA monitoring, to optimize costs and service delivery.


Skills & Experience Required:

  • Requires 12-15 years of managerial experience, specifically in a CIO or similar executive role within the industry.
  • Deep expertise in RAN (Radio Access Network) technology, IT infrastructure, and technical operations specific to telco environments.
  • Proven track record supporting multi-country operations and leading complex Acquisitions and Divestments projects.
  • Extensive background in designing, developing, and planning large-scale IT implementations and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis, budget management (CAPEX/OPEX), and aligning technology with overall business operations.
  • A Bachelor's degree in IT or Engineering is required, with a Master's degree (MSc/MA) in a relevant field highly preferred.
