Chapter Lead

Job description


  • Assume full accountability for shaping the technological direction and providing leadership, ensuring strict adherence to technology and software development life cycle standards and policies while fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
  • Spearhead technical enhancements in the software development life cycle (SDLC) and automation frameworks.
  • Take charge of productivity, quality, and delivery planning for the Squads in close collaboration with Tribe Leads while ensuring alignment with planning timelines.
  • Identify and remove roadblocks and impediments and streamline work processes.


  • Profound expertise in technical leadership and responsible for upholding agile processes and best practices.
  • Extensive experience in the development of web applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
  • Familiarity with design patterns and frameworks, including Spring, Maven, Jenkins, Java platform, JavaScript frameworks, MVC patterns, and REST API principles.
  • Competency in server-side frameworks, encompassing Core Java, Apache Camel, Maven, Spring framework, Spring Boot, multi-threading, JDBC, JMS, Hibernate, JPA, JSON, Mockito, and Swagger.
  • Experience in DevOps, covering continuous integration and continuous deployment (CICD), quality gates, Jenkins, code repositories, and more.
  • Proficiency in application architecture, messaging queues (MQ, Connect Direct, or equivalent), middleware technologies (Weblogic, JBOSS, Apache Tomcat, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with web and mobile application security (SSL, JWT, or equivalent).
  • Skills in database technologies such as Oracle and MariaDB.
