Business Analyst/FP&A - Assistant Manager

We are currently recruiting for our multinational clients in Malaysia who are looking to hire an experienced Business Analyst or Assistant FP&A Manager, who will be responsible for business and financial analytics matters for the assigned legal entity(s) in the company. The successful candidate will be supporting and reporting directly to the Head of Finance, based in Petaling Jaya.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for analysis of big data and deciphering it to present to the management team.
  • Involved in financial modelling and identify issues/risks for process improvements.
  • Detailed analysis of business costs and propose savings.
  • Responsible for detailed analysis of financial information and for preparation of financial dashboards and financial results for both local and regional reporting purposes.
  • Active participation in business plan, forecast and budgeting.
  • Responsible for preparation of working templates for multiple stakeholders' input and reporting purposes.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties and assignments as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant financial planning and analysis experience, preferably with a career foundation in external audit.
  • Possess Degree in Accounting/Finance, Economics, Statistics or Mathematics.
  • Possess strong critical thinking, analytical skills and able to adapt to business needs and changes.
  • Knowledge in Oracle is an added advantage.
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel, Macro and PowerBI.
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English.
