Business Analyst (Retail Banking)

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of the end-to-end software development and support for various projects, including implementing and administering software products, designing and developing applications, and providing testing and support.
  • Ensure the team's deliverables align with the Bank's software delivery methodology and meet quality assurance standards.
  • Conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) involving new data technologies, container platforms, and related components.
  • Prepare detailed technical documents, such as solution designs and program specifications, for target solutions.
  • Engage in the design and development of a wide range of applications, including software applications, data integration solutions, user interfaces, and automation tools.
  • Continuously identify and recommend software enhancements to improve the management of software applications.




Requirements:

  • Possess a minimum of 6-9 years of hands-on experience in implementing large-scale data warehouse and/or analytics platforms within the financial services industry, with a solid understanding of retail banking products and services.
  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end solutioning of closed-loop credit portfolio analytics systems, preferably with expertise in SAS Intelligent Decisioning.
  • This includes integrating data sources, authoring and implementing decision scorecards, and ensuring seamless integration with product processors and channels.
  • Strong integration expertise, particularly in connecting data stores/events (such as messaging systems and data marts) with decision systems (rule-based systems) and customer experience applications (online/mobile apps).
  • Good to have strong understanding of data integration and implementation of decisioning rules using SAS Viya.
