Senior Finance Analyst

Role Overview
The position sits within a global finance operations or shared-services environment that supports end-to-end financial reporting, statutory compliance, and internal controls for multiple markets. The role focuses on delivering high-quality financial information, maintaining a strong financial control environment, and supporting key governance processes across assigned regions.

You will work closely with local finance teams, controllers, tax partners, and business stakeholders while supervising or collaborating with a team of analysts responsible for financial close, reporting, and compliance activities.


Key Responsibilities

Month-End & Financial Reporting

  • Lead or support month-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

  • Prepare reconciliations and analysis to maintain robust balance-sheet hygiene.

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial results for assigned markets.

Controls & Governance

  • Maintain compliance with internal control frameworks and financial reporting policies.

  • Support internal and external audit requirements as needed.

  • Identify control gaps and participate in remediation and process improvement.

Statutory & Regulatory Support

  • Work with external partners or accounting firms on local statutory filings.

  • Ensure submissions to regulatory bodies are complete, accurate, and compliant.

Tax Support

  • Provide financial data required for direct and indirect tax filings.

  • Partner with tax teams or external advisors to comply with local tax regulations.

Transfer Pricing

  • Support transfer pricing calculations, adjustments, and annual updates.

  • Coordinate with regional or global teams to ensure correct implementation.

Cash & Working Capital

  • Contribute to cash-flow visibility, forecasting, and cash-generation initiatives.

Business Partnership

  • Collaborate with local finance and business teams to provide insights and answer ad-hoc financial queries.

  • Help drive financial performance by supplying analysis that supports decision-making.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, or automate processes.

  • Support change initiatives and operational excellence programs.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

  • 5-7 years of experience in financial accounting, controlling, or similar roles.

  • Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

  • Experience working in cross-functional or multinational teams.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly SAP.

  • Experience contributing to or driving change initiatives.
