AVP, Middle Office Operations Strategy

Main responsibility is to support the Operation Head in the overall banking operations strategy and direction. To provide leadership, developing and coordination of business priorities and to promote efficiency in lean process improvement.

  • To be specialized in supporting the Derivative Operations global function within Financial Markets Operations for 8 countries globally.
  • Supporting in balancing and coordinating delivery of business priorities spanning financial performance & reviews, product, customer and franchise management deliverables.
  • Lead, formalize and execute operational strategic projects & initiatives across the business units.
  • Maintain effective systems and controls to monitor and direct the working of all businesses, functions, and operations.
  • Working closely with individual Banking Ops Management Committee members to monitor financial performance are on track.
  • Partner with business unit heads and HR in development of an overall talent's strength, employee engagement plan and alignment of individual performance management.
  • Lead the Derivatives Operations business unit to achieve the outcomes and collaboratively resolve risks and other compliance matters.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of working experience in Financial Market Operations.
  • Strong involvement in business management / project management and strategies execution within FMO.
  • Preferably candidates with at least 3 years of people management experience.
  • Candidates with Derivatives, FX product knowledge will be an added advantage.
