About our client:

Our client is a project‑driven technology organisation supporting complex telecommunications systems and platforms for a prominent enterprise client. Operating from Kuala Lumpur, the team places strong emphasis on software quality, reliability, and continuous delivery across multiple systems. To strengthen their testing capability, they are looking for an Automation QA Engineer to design and maintain automated test frameworks, ensure end‑to‑end system quality, and work closely with developers and stakeholders to support stable, production‑ready releases.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Robot Framework.
  • Create and manage custom keywords and test libraries, including Python‑based extensions.
  • Execute mobile test automation using Appium, primarily for Android applications.
  • Perform testing across real devices, emulators, and device farms.
  • Implement data‑driven and keyword‑driven testing approaches.
  • Analyse test results using Robot Framework reporting and logging.
  • Conduct API testing and support end‑to‑end test coverage.
  • Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders within the STLC, managing defects via JIRA.
  • Contribute to testing initiatives within large‑scale telco or enterprise projects (domain experience preferred).
