Assistant Operations Manager

Job Summary: The Assistant Operations Manager will support the Operations Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our manufacturing facility. This role involves ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and fostering a safe and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility.
• Supervise production staff and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders.
• Implement and maintain efficient production processes and procedures.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and communication.
• Assist in inventory management and control.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity.
• Train and mentor production staff.
• Prepare and maintain operational reports and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in packaging.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of safety and quality standards in manufacturing.
