Assistant Manager, Financial Reporting

Our Client

A leading financial institution is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a small team and ensure highly accurate and timely delivery of the financial statements and regulatory submissions.

About the Role

  • Responsible to validate end of day processes and highlight exception to managers
  • Review effectiveness of existing controls, identify gaps and recommend mitigating action
  • Responsible to review procedures, SLA, RCA and all risk related documentation(s)
  • Responsible on the quality and timeliness for the month, provide commentaries
  • Ensure proper segregation of tasks for all the accountants to ensure resources are available

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Banking, Finance, Commerce or relevant discipline(s)
  • Minimum 4 years' relevant experience with solid knowledge in accounting standards
  • Experience in managing project(s) and change migration(s) will be added advantage
