Assistant Finance Manager, Consolidation (Kulai)

About our client:
This company is a well-known MNC in the manufacturing industry with multiple brand presence and partnerships across the globe. They are looking to hire an assistant finance manager to be based in Kulai to support the senior management and work closely with the local finance team.

Your key responsibilities includes:
* Take charge of end-to-end group consolidation, month end closing and reporting.
* Ensure alignment of local processes and controllership compliance
* Co‐ordinate with Treasury for local treasury/banking requirements
* Lead projects on process improvement, streamlining and re-engineering
* Manage and guide a lean team towards excellence
* Support on audits, statutory reporting and tax

The ideal candidate should have:
* At least a bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting, and/or professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, etc.)
* A minimum of 7 years of experience in scope involving group consolidation, financial reporting, business partnering, and Fcontrolling with a solid foundation in stakeholder management.
* Fluency in Mandarin to liaise with stakeholders based in China.
