Assistant Finance Manager (Based in Rawang)

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a multinational FMCG products manufacturing company in Malaysia who is looking to hire an experienced Assistant Finance Manager, who will be responsible for full spectrum accounting and finance matters for the assigned legal entity(s) in the company.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be supporting and reporting directly to Finance Manager, based in Rawang:

  • Lead month-end & year-end close activities, statutory audit and tax submissions.
  • Responsible for preparation of manufacturing costs and maintenance of inventory reports.
  • Assist in analysis of operational and manufacturing processes with the management team for process improvement and better efficiency.
  • Supporting on forecast and budgeting exercises related to manufacturing costing.
  • Involvement in ad-hoc and routine costing computations on daily and weekly basis.
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects and assignments as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Possess Degree in Accounting/Finance or professionally qualified accountant ie. ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant costing & financial reporting, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in SAP would be a big advantage.
  • Possess strong critical thinking, resilience in fast-paced environment and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English.
