AR/Credit Control Executive

About our client:

We are currently recruiting for a multinational consumer manufacturing company in Malaysia who is looking to hire an experienced Accounts Receivable and Credit Control talent, who will be overseeing regional credit control and partial account receivable function. The successful candidate will be supporting and reporting directly to the Financial Controller, based in West Port, Port Klang.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for checking of customer's CTOS credit rating and review of credit limits.
• Close liaison with the sales team on customer payments and legal team on matters relating to contracts or legal cases.
• Ensure accurate posting of AR transactions from invoices to collections, including looking into bank reconciliation/records.
• Generate and review of AR aging reports and keeping management team updated at all times.
• Perform in ad-hoc assignments as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Possess Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy or professionally qualified accountant ie. ACCA, CPA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant credit control/accounts receivable experience, in the manufacturing industry.
• Possess strong interpersonal, stakeholder management and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and communication skills in English.
