Application Security Specialist

With their strong presence in Malaysia, our client is a leader in their market and is growing rapidly in the country. They are currently expanding and is looking for a good talent to join their growing team in Malaysia.

In summary, this role requires you to take care of both application security for mobile and backend applications. You are also responsible to perform regular monitoring, assessment and security test. In this role, you will also have to perform backend API review. As the specialist, you will need to report any app vulnerabilities and also to follow up on it.

To qualify an individual must possess:

• A Bachelors'/ Diploma Degree holder in the field of Information Security/Computer Science etc
• Good experience and knowledge on security technology (Burpsuite, Nessus, Nmap)
• Knowledgeable in API security and web/mobile security and pentest
• Experienced in bug bounty program/community is an advantage
• Well versed in Linux security
• Good spoken and written proficiency in English
• Open to LOCAL Malaysians only
