Application Engineer

Job description



Our client specializes in automation solutions. They are currently looking for an Application Engineer to join their team in Johor.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Support: Travel to client locations to provide on-site technical support and ensure the successful deployment of automation systems.
  • System Integration: Assist clients with the integration of automation solutions into their existing processes and systems.
  • Technical Expertise: Offer detailed technical guidance and support to clients, addressing any issues or challenges that arise.
  • Training and Education: Conduct training sessions and workshops for clients to ensure they are proficient in using our automation solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, product development, and customer service teams to ensure client needs are met and projects are completed successfully.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for product and process improvements based on client feedback and technical analysis.




Skills & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Mechatronic, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in an application engineering role, preferably in the automation or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of automation systems and solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently and work independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to read & write in Mandarin.
