APAC Procurement Operations Specialist (6 Months Contract)

Job description

This global FMCG company based in KL is looking to hire an APAC Procurement Operations Specialist on a contract role for 6 months. This person must have relevant purchasing experience and has experience using Oracle. This role will be supporting the Procure to Pay process with the main focuses put into PR to PO activities for indirect purchases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Will be responsible for supporting transactional procurement processes and identify potential enhancements in the procure to pay area
  • Ensuring activities are compliant to sourcing and procurement policies by conducting checks and making sure users follow policies when creating Purchase Requisition in iProcurement
  • Supporting the procure to pay process with the main task being reviewing and processing Purchase Requisition and Purchase orders regardless of value

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Has a minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in either procurement, purchasing and/or sourcing and have a good understanding of procurement processes inclusive of Procure to Pay, Purchase orders, suppliers, etc
  • Holding a relevant Bachelor's Degree in business, operations, supply chain or other
  • Is skilled in using Oracle purchasing, oracle payables and Oracle iProcurement
