Actuarial Auditor

About the Role:

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and recommend enhancements to corporate policies and procedures.
• Lead or participate in the planning of audit assignments, ensuring quality reports and timely deliverables.
• Develop and maintain up-to-date audit plans and programs tailored to the current operating environment.
• Timely reporting of findings, risks, and recommendations to the Audit Committee.
• Lead or participate in ad-hoc assignments, special projects, and investigations.
• Assist in follow-up with auditees on outstanding findings and verification of resolved issues.
• Uphold audit operating standards, observe procedures, and meet Quality Assurance Review requirements.
• Contribute to the administration of Group Internal Audit, ensuring effective resource usage.
• Assist the Head of Internal Auditor in non-audit responsibilities as assigned.

Role Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in the Actuarial field, with pricing and valuation expertise.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements specific to Actuarial, including risk-based capital.
• Proficiency in Actuarial work applications (e.g., Prophet, MS Excel, MS Access).
• Strong report writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Analytical, independent, and a collaborative team player.
• Commitment and ability to interact effectively with all staff levels.
• Proficient in oral and written English.
• Willingness to travel overseas when required (once/twice every quarter).
• High integrity, accountability, and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
• Initiative to improve existing processes and adaptability to embrace change.
