Accounts Receivable Manager

About our client:

We are currently recruiting for a well-known education company in Malaysia who is looking to hire an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager, who will be overseeing the Accounts Receivable function and team. The successful candidate will be supporting and reporting directly to the Head of Finance, based in Petaling Jaya.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage end-to-end Accounts Receivable function and process, ensuring proper documentation for collections and revenue recognition.
• Ensure that journal postings are up to date and accurate, complying with group's SOP and compliance.
• Responsible for timely and accurate monthly closing of management accounts, along with required analysis and reconciliations.
• Managing the team members and provide hands-on guidance.
• Looking into improving processes, efficiencies, and SOP whenever necessary.
• Perform in ad-hoc assignments and projects as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Possess Degree in Finance/Accountancy or professionally qualified accountant ie. ACCA, CPA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant financial reporting with people management experience, background in external audit would be an added advantage.
• Possess strong interpersonal, people management and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and communication skills in English.
