Accountant Lead / Senior Accounts Exec - MNC / SSC

Our Client is a Multinational Company and a top leader in its respective industry. Being a public listed MNC with over billions of revenues, they invest massive resources into their staff training programme to develop their people from the ground. They have multiple roles available for Accounts Executive / Senior Accountant / General Ledger & reporting Analyst

This role as an Accounts Executive will executive a timely delivery of accounting processes across month end closing, fixed asset management, intercompany transactions, balance sheet reconciliation, financial & management reporting.


Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in processing general ledger entries, fixed assets transaction, banking transaction, preparing financial and management report, balance sheet reconciliation,
• Ensure the ownership for all applicable internal controls related to Record-To-Report processes
• Advise on operational complex and judgement based general accounting
• Review P&L and BS from an accounting perspective
• Ensure standard operating procedures are maintained and up to date
• Responsible for the preparation of all IFRS based Group reports, and other finance documents
• Identify and develop process improvements plans when required.
• Ensure all major issues or red flag are escalated to management as appropriate
• Internal controls: establish and maintain a proper level of control over accounting, and reporting processes

Qualifications

• A Degree in Accountancy or Finance
• Good understanding of Accounting or Record to Report processes
• Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in accounting / General Ledger (GL) / Record to Report (RTR)
• Proficiency in Excel and Power Point
• Knowledge in SAP ERP will be great but it is not a requirement
• Shared services background / International or Local MNC is a good to have but not required
