Accountant (Based in PJ/Klang)

About our clients:

Our clients are healthcare/manufacturing multinational corporations with established presence in Malaysia. They are looking to hire experienced Accountants, who will be responsible for finance and accounting matters in either GL scope or handling full set of accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

These roles will be supporting and reporting directly to Finance Manager, based in Petaling Jaya or Klang:

• Responsible for full set of accounts and month end financial analytics.
• Performing monthly bank reconciliation, GL, treasury and fixed assets tasks.
• Perform month end closing activities and preparation of financial reports, for review and approval by the Finance Manager.
• Ensure the supplier invoices/payments have been reviewed and approved by Finance Manager.
• Participation in yearly internal audit, external audit and tax submissions.
• Perform ad-hoc duties and assignments as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Minimum 4 years of relevant financial reporting experience, preferably with a career foundation in external audit.
• Possess professional qualification ie. ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Possess strong critical thinking, independent and analytical skills.
• Proficient in International Financial Reporting Standards ("IFRS").
• Excellent written and communication skills in English.
