2D / 3D Game Animator

Job Responsibilities:

• Design & Create: Develop engaging 2D and 3D animations for characters, objects, and environments based on concept art and design specs.
• Animation Techniques: Use keyframing, tweening, and inverse kinematics (IK) for fluid, realistic movements.
• Collaboration: Work with designers and programmers to ensure animations fit gameplay needs and technical constraints.
• Implementation: Integrate and optimize animations in game engines (Unity or Unreal).
• Functionality: Ensure animations work seamlessly within the game environment and interact properly with other elements.
• Troubleshooting: Address any animation issues during integration.
• Brainstorming: Participate in sessions to develop creative animation solutions.
• Industry Trends: Stay current with the latest animation trends and techniques.
• Quality Maintenance: Help maintain a high-quality animation pipeline.

Job Requirements:

• Animation Knowledge: Deep understanding of animation principles, timing, and weight.
• Experience & Portfolio: Proven experience as a Game Animator with a strong portfolio in 2D and 3D animation.
• Collaboration: Strong communication and teamwork skills to work with artists, designers, and programmers.
• Software Proficiency: Skilled in industry-standard animation tools (e.g., Maya, Blender, Spine) and game engines (Unity, Unreal).
• Artistic Skill: Excellent eye for detail and visual appeal.
• Passion for Gaming: Deep understanding of how animation enhances gameplay.
• Independence & Time Management: Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• AI Tools: Bonus for using AI tools to streamline workflows and boost efficiency and quality.
