Head of Security

Position Purpose:

• Responsible for ensuring safety and security at Aerospace Complex in line with CAAM AVSEC requirements, NCASP, and Conditions of Entry.

Job Summary:

• Seeking an experienced Head of Security (HOS) to oversee safety and security, develop policies, and coordinate with authorities and security professionals.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

1. Develop and implement security program and policies.
2. Ensure compliance with AVSEC requirements and company protocols.
3. Manage annual security budgets and coordinate with Finance.
4. Select Security Service Providers for asset protection.
5. Supervise security personnel performance and compliance.
6. Coordinate with authorities to address operational needs.
7. Collaborate with Admin and Operations for safety procedures.
8. Lead emergency response efforts.
9. Prepare incident reports and recommend corrective actions.
10. Lead investigations and report to CEO and Authorities.
11. Analyze data for security improvements.

Work Experiences & Skills:

1. Minimum 3 years supervisory security experience.
2. Proficient in security technology.
3. Experience in reporting and emergency planning.
4. Strong knowledge of security protocols.
5. Budgeting and statistical analysis skills.
6. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
7. Strong leadership abilities.
8. Willingness to work flexible hours.
9. Ability to manage Security Program revisions.
10. Conduct threat assessments and compliance audits.
11. Identify risks and vulnerabilities within the company.

Qualifications:

1. Soft-skills:
   • Strong communication and organizational skills.
   • Team-oriented approach.
   • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
   • Knowledge of AVSEC requirements.
   • Basic Excel and MS Office skills.
2. Academic Qualification & Experiences:
   • Diploma/ Degree Holder, preferably in Security.
   • Experienced in the aviation security field, holding a managerial position.
   • AVSEC Certified
   • AVSEC Program Training.
   • Audit & Risk Assessment Training.
   • Optional: External Security Investigative Training.
