Our client, a leading financial services organisation, is seeking an experienced Head of Total Rewards to lead and evolve its total rewards agenda. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for designing and governing reward strategies that attract, motivate and retain top talent while ensuring alignment with business priorities, market competitiveness and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive the organisation's Total Rewards philosophy, strategy and governance framework.
  • Lead compensation strategy, including salary structures, annual remuneration reviews, incentive plans and promotion-related reward processes.
  • Oversee employee benefits programmes, including healthcare, insurance, retirement and wellbeing offerings, ensuring effectiveness and cost efficiency.
  • Design and manage recognition frameworks that support both strategic and operational objectives.
  • Lead job evaluation, grading and job architecture initiatives while supporting organisational design and transformation programmes.
  • Drive market benchmarking, reward analytics and workforce cost analysis to inform talent and business decisions.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on Total Rewards, partnering closely with senior leadership, HR stakeholders and external advisors.

Ideal Profile

  • Extensive experience leading Total Rewards, Compensation & Benefits, or Rewards Strategy functions within large and complex organisations.
  • Strong expertise in compensation frameworks, benefits design, reward governance and market benchmarking.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and provide strategic advisory support.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience leveraging data to drive reward decisions.
  • Experience within financial services or other highly regulated industries would be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated success in leading transformation, organisational design or workforce-related initiatives.
