The Role

Ready to bridge science and commerce? Here's what you'll be doing:

• Defining and executing the category strategy for the bread ingredients portfolio, aligned to global objectives
• Managing the product lifecycle, identifying gaps, and optimising the offering to meet market needs
• Translating ingredient functionality into compelling value propositions for industrial and artisanal bakery customers
• Analysing trends, competitor activity, and regulatory requirements to guide development priorities
• Partnering with sales and technical teams on customer engagements and delivering technical training to commercial teams

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 8 years in the B2B food industry, with bakery ingredients, food additives, or milling exposure preferred
• Proven background in product or category management, or technical sales
• Solid understanding of bread-making processes and functional ingredients such as enzymes and emulsifiers
• Experience managing portfolios in the Malaysian market across industrial and artisanal channels
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency is a strong advantage
• A background as a food technologist or similar technical role is a definite plus
• Willingness to travel regionally and internationally
