The Role

Lead a multidisciplinary sustainability division with responsibility for strategy, implementation, and thought leadership across ESG. You'll be accountable for:

• Crafting and driving multi-year ESG and sustainability roadmaps - internally and across the capital market ecosystem
• Overseeing the rollout of best-in-class sustainability practices and disclosures across all material ESG themes
• Representing the organisation at national, regional, and global ESG platforms, taskforces, and industry dialogues
• Embedding sustainability knowledge and culture across the organisation, collaborating with all business units
• Maintaining and improving internationally recognised ESG performance ratings
• Building, leading, and developing a high-performing, multidisciplinary sustainability team

What We're Looking For

An experienced, credible ESG leader ready to operate at board level and drive lasting change. You'll bring:

• 10-15 years of managerial experience in a listed corporation, financial institution, or consultancy
• A demonstrated track record developing and delivering ESG initiatives that create measurable change
• Strong knowledge of international sustainability frameworks - ISSB Standards, GRI, IFRS, and UN SDGs
• Proven experience engaging regulators, policymakers, and senior stakeholders across multiple sectors
• Excellent communication and public speaking skills, with fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Degree in Environmental Sciences, Sustainable Development, Finance, Law, or a related field; postgraduate qualification or professional certification in sustainability preferred
