Supply Chain Manager

Our client, a globally recognised organisation within the food logistics sector, is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to take ownership of demand and supply planning across a complex, multi-temperature product portfolio. Based in Klang, this is a role where your analytical capability and leadership will directly shape supply continuity and business performance.

The Role
Stepping into a leadership position with direct team responsibility, you will:
  • Manage demand forecasting and inventory planning across multi-temperature finished goods
  • Monitor supply continuity and proactively communicate any risks or disruptions
  • Coach and develop a team of junior supply chain executives
  • Collaborate with suppliers, customers and internal departments on inventory strategies and projections
  • Lead weekly and monthly performance reviews and reporting cycles
  • Drive special projects and continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
  • At least 5 years' experience in supply chain management or planning
  • Proven strength in demand and supply planning - this is a core requirement
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of guiding and developing a team
  • FMCG sector exposure is highly advantageous
  • A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills with a customer-first mindset
  • Confidence with digital tools and data-driven decision-making
