Our client is a globally respected electronics engineering and manufacturing organisation seeking a Supply Chain Director to lead their end-to-end supply chain function at their Pahang facility.

The Role

An end-to-end supply chain leadership position with strategic and operational accountability:

  • Lead and develop the supply chain team, setting clear objectives and nurturing a high-performance culture
  • Oversee S&OP and demand forecasting to maintain material and finished goods availability
  • Drive cost reductions across freight, brokerage, duties, and customs operations
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets
  • Collaborate with NPI, engineering, and quality teams to achieve material efficiency and cost improvement goals
  • Ensure global trade compliance across import/export requirements, liaising with Customs and relevant government bodies
  • Maintain ISO procedures and uphold quality, safety, and health standards across the materials function

What We're Looking For

An experienced, commercially minded supply chain leader ready to make a lasting impact:

  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline
  • 12-15 years of progressive supply chain experience in manufacturing, with at least 5-8 years in a senior leadership role
  • Background in EMS, semiconductor, medical device, aerospace, or automotive industries strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of MRP systems, preferably SAP, and proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong cross-functional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
