The Role

Take the lead, shape the strategy - here's what you'll be driving:

• Lead, coach, and develop a small sales team to deliver individual and collective revenue targets
• Build and execute regional sales strategies to grow the specialty food ingredients portfolio
• Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities with food and beverage manufacturers
• Manage and develop key and strategic customer accounts for long-term commercial growth
• Champion a range of specialty ingredients including stabilisers, emulsifiers, sweeteners, proteins, enzymes, and flavours
• Deliver application-driven, consultative solutions in close collaboration with technical and R&D teams
• Own budgeting, pricing strategy, and margin management alongside robust CRM and pipeline reporting

What We're Looking For

A proven food ingredients sales leader ready to drive real growth:

• Hands-on sales experience with specialty food ingredients - essential
• 8-10 years of B2B sales experience in food ingredients or specialty chemicals, with team leadership exposure
• Strong consultative and solution-based selling track record, with experience engaging food and beverage manufacturers
• Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Business, or a related field
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage
• Willingness to travel regularly across Malaysia
