Senior Relationship Manager, Premier Wealth Banking

The Senior Relationship Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of Premier Banking clients by delivering holistic wealth management and banking solutions, in line with regulatory, suitability, and conduct standards set by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and deepen long‑term relationships with affluent and high‑net‑worth clients
• Grow portfolio through new client acquisition, assets under management (AUM), and revenue generation
• Provide advisory across investments, insurance, deposits, and lending solutions based on clients' financial objectives and risk profiles
• Conduct periodic reviews to ensure suitability, adequacy, and ongoing relevance of client portfolios
• Work closely with licensed specialists to deliver compliant and integrated wealth solutions
• Ensure strict adherence to BNM regulations, internal policies, AML/CFT requirements, and suitability frameworks
• Maintain accurate documentation, client records, and regulatory disclosures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Premier Banking, Private Banking, or Wealth Management
• Proven track record in managing affluent / HNW client portfolios
• Strong client advisory, relationship management, and communication skills
• Good understanding of Malaysian regulatory requirements and wealth banking products
• Possession of relevant licensing and certifications (e.g. FIMM, PCE/CEILI, IPPC where applicable)
• Highly customer‑focused, commercially driven, and compliance‑conscious
