Our client is a well-established food manufacturer based in Johor, Malaysia, with a strong focus on quality, food safety, and continuous improvement. They're looking for a Senior Quality Manager to take full ownership of their QA, QC, and Environmental Management functions on a permanent basis, reporting directly to the COO.

The Role

In this role, you'll take ownership across three key areas:

• Developing and implementing quality, food safety, and environmental strategies
• Overseeing QMS, FSMS, and EMS in line with ISO 22000, ISO 14001, GMP, and HACCP
• Leading internal and external audits, certifications, and regulatory inspections
• Driving non-conformance investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA
• Monitoring KPIs including defect rates, complaints, and audit findings
• Supporting NPD, trials, and cross-functional collaboration with Production, R&D, and Supply Chain
• Coaching and developing a high-performing quality and environmental team

What We're Looking For

Bring your expertise and ambition to this role:

• Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field
• At least 8 years' QA/QC experience in food manufacturing
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership or managerial role
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and ISO standards
• Preferred: ISO 22000/14001/9001 Auditor, HACCP Level 3/4, Six Sigma certification
• A strategic thinker with strong communication, decision-making, and people development skills
