Senior Project Manager / Business Analyst

Job Responsibilities

Lead and manage end-to-end business and technology projects within the banking environment.
Engage stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.
Conduct business process reviews, gap analysis, and recommend process improvements or transformation opportunities.
Translate business requirements into solution designs and work closely with technology, operations, and vendor teams for delivery.
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, and dependency logs.
Monitor project progress and ensure delivery within agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
Facilitate project governance, status reporting, steering committee meetings, and executive updates.
Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), implementation planning, and business readiness activities.
Manage project risks, issues, change requests, and stakeholder expectations.
Ensure compliance with banking regulations, risk frameworks, and internal governance standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business, Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and external vendors.
Support strategic initiatives involving digital transformation, process optimization, regulatory change, and system implementations.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
15+ years of relevant experience in Business Analysis, Project Management, Change Management, or Business Transformation within Banking or Financial Services.
Strong knowledge of banking products, operations, processes, and regulatory requirements.
Proven experience delivering medium to large-scale business and technology projects.
Strong skills in requirements gathering, business process mapping, gap analysis, and stakeholder management.
Experience working with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid project delivery methodologies.
Excellent project planning, risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Experience managing cross-functional teams, vendors, and senior business stakeholders.
Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Visio, Power BI, and Microsoft Office.
Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, CBAP, CSM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent are preferred.
Experience in one or more banking domains such as Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Digital Banking, Payments, Wealth Management, Lending, Risk, Compliance, AML/KYC, or Core Banking Transformation is advantageous.
