Senior Transport & Delivery Manager | Klang, Selangor | Permanent

This well-established international distribution and services business is seeking a senior leader to take full ownership of their transport and delivery operations based in Klang.

The Role

A strategic and hands-on position with end-to-end transport accountability:

• Lead transport strategy and operations planning to optimise fleet efficiency, cost, and service quality
• Own transport P&L, billing, and proof-of-delivery management with forwarding and logistics partners
• Oversee fleet maintenance programmes and uphold safety, security, and GDP compliance standards
• Drive vendor selection, RFP processes, and service level negotiations with transport partners
• Build and develop the transport team, ensuring capability and performance standards are consistently met
• Monitor KPIs and implement improvements across dispatch, transport, and distribution operations

What We're Looking For

A decisive, customer-focused leader with deep logistics expertise:

• Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 8 years of management experience in transport or warehousing, ideally in FMCG
• Sound knowledge of customs, shipping, local transport regulations, and fleet management
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Analytical and proactive, with a solutions-oriented approach to operational challenges
• Proficient in written and spoken English
