Senior Manager, HR Shared Services

Job description

Our client is a Fortune 500 Company setting up their HR Shared Services Hub in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. They are looking for an Senior Manager, HR Shared Services to manage the service delivery of the 4 main pillars of Talent Services, Total Rewards, Payroll Services and HR Customer Services.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Manager, HR Shared Services is responsible for managing all aspects of the HR Shared Services (HRSS) organization which cover APAC and EMEA regions, as well as supporting the Global Head of Shared Services and the site leader in Kuala Lumpur.

As this is a new setup, you will be responsible in leading and setting the strategy for migration projects, recruitment and training for your team members, engaging and building strong stakeholder relationships, change management. You will have 4 direct reports, and will oversee an organization of 20-30 employees.

You will be responsible for service delivery of the functions as below:

  • Talent Services will be accountable for oversight of talent services and solutions in HR Operation.
  • Total Rewards Services will be accountable for oversight of compensation and benefits administration, global mobility services, and leave of absence administration.
  • Payroll Services will be accountable for oversight of payroll operations and administration. They will interface with Business HR and COEs to continuously improve payroll services.
  • HR Customer Services will oversee HR customer service and operational delivery to regional HR customers, monitoring inquiries and customer satisfaction and providing escalated support as needed. Provide coaching to customer service representatives/functional specialists and ensures that the team is on track with applicable performance metrics and continuously improving the customer experience.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Overall career experience of in HR of about 12-15 years, with at least 5 years of experience in an HR Shared Services organization.
  • Managerial level for at least 5 years leading teams of 15-20, with strong regional stakeholder influencing skills.
  • Degree/Masters in Human Resources, additional HR qualifications will be an advantage.
  • Ideally having direct exposure to the 2-4 functions mentioned above.
  • Experienced leading and driving in migration projects in a matrixed organization.
