Senior Java Engineer

Background: They have been on the market for more than 20 years in Europe, is setting up an IT centre in Malaysia. Specialized in providing IT solutions to both private and public sectors, they are currently searching for multiple Software Engineers to join their team.

What you will do?

• Define the scope and objectives through performing research / fact-finding to develop complex information systems
• Actively involve in designing, developing, and testing Java based solutions using technologies likes Java 11, Spring 5, SOAP, REST, Angular 8, MySQL, Maven, Jenkins, Automatic Testing (Unit, Integration, Acceptance)
• Continuously identify and initiate improvements to large scale product (Java/J2EE/Mobile based) as well as to team performance and collaboration
• Translate technical requirements into working and maintainable solutions
• Implementation of the product's lifecycle: design, develop, QA, deployment, maintenance
• Drive and develop best practices for the processes

What are the requirements?

• Bachelor's Degree in IT relevant field
• A proven track of at least 4 years of working experience in Java development
• Experienced in developing applications with Java EE platforms and familiar with frameworks like Spring, Struts, etc.
• Solid technical knowledge of JQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML/CSS
• Strong understanding of Agile fundamentals
• Good communication skills, English is a must - both written and spoken
