Our client is a globally recognised organisation operating at scale across complex, technology-driven environments. They are seeking an experienced Java Architect to join a high-calibre architecture function, shaping enterprise-wide solutions and driving innovation across multiple domains.

The Role

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Design and deliver complex, end-to-end enterprise solutions across multiple business domains
• Contribute to Enterprise Architecture initiatives, navigating both broad strategy and deep technical detail
• Coordinate and participate in architecture forums, driving alignment and collaboration across teams
• Work closely with fellow architects and engineering colleagues to ensure consistency and quality across the technology landscape
• Bring expertise in Agentic AI, GenAI, and cloud-native design to shape forward-thinking architectural decisions
• Apply hands-on Java knowledge, including microservices architecture, to guide and validate application design

What We're Looking For

Here's what you'll need:

• Between 3 and 8 years of software architecture experience, with a strong track record in designing complex, end-to-end solutions (essential)
• Solid knowledge of Enterprise Architecture principles and frameworks
• Strong Java 17/21 proficiency, with applied experience in microservices architecture and Java-based application design (essential)
• Practical familiarity with Agentic AI, GenAI, and cloud-native design principles (essential)
• Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and manage competing demands
• Strong written and spoken English, with the confidence to collaborate across global, cross-regional teams
