Senior HR Officer

About Our Client

Our client is a well‑established multinational organisation with a strong local presence and a reputation for operational excellence. As part of their continued focus on strengthening core HR operations and supporting a growing workforce, they are seeking a Senior HR Officer based in Johor to oversee key HR functions and support day‑to‑day people operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end‑to‑end recruitment activities across all employee levels, ensuring timely and effective hiring to meet manpower requirements.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including orientation programmes and employment documentation.
  • Oversee payroll and benefits administration for operational roles, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Monitor and administer employee benefits, personnel records, and HR documentation with a strong focus on confidentiality and governance.
  • Support employee relations matters, including disciplinary processes and internal enquiries in line with company policies.
  • Assist in the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and HR‑related projects as assigned.
  • Provide operational support for HR administration activities, including attendance, claims, and welfare‑related matters.

Requirements

  • Holds a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a generalist HR role covering recruitment, payroll, and/or employee relations.
  • Well‑versed in Malaysian labour laws and statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, IRB, etc.).
  • Familiar with HR systems, payroll processing, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Detail‑oriented, independent, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across all levels.
