Senior Financial Analyst (Penang Based)

Join as a finance senior analyst within a regional operations environment, supporting financial planning, performance analysis, and reporting across multiple business units. Works closely with operational stakeholders to provide insights, drive cost control, and support decision-making in a fast-paced, service-driven industry.
What you will do
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles
  • Perform variance analysis (actual vs budget/forecast) and identify key drivers
  • Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations
  • Partner with operations teams to provide insights on cost, margins, and performance
  • Monitor and analyse key financial metrics to support business decisions
  • Support month-end close, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations
  • Drive cost optimisation and efficiency initiatives across operations
  • Assist in financial modelling, scenario analysis, and business cases
  • Ensure data accuracy and compliance with internal policies
  • Contribute to process improvements and reporting standardisation

Who we are looking for

  • Degree in Finance / Accounting / related field
  • 4-7 years in FP&A / finance analysis / controlling
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis experience
  • Good understanding of P&L and operational cost drivers
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Experience with ERP / reporting tools
  • Strong stakeholder partnering skills
  • Experience in logistics / services / high-volume environment
  • Australia region experience (good to have)
