Senior Executive - Procurement (Medical Consumables)

A well-established medical consumables trading and distribution company, backed by a leading global healthcare group, is expanding its procurement team and looking for a Senior Executive - Procurement to support its growing regional business.

This is a newly created role as part of an expansion plan, offering hands-on exposure to China supplier sourcing and end-to-end procurement in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities, from supplier sourcing and negotiation through to order placement and delivery
• Liaise directly with China-based manufacturers and suppliers to source medical consumables and related products
• Coordinate product specifications, pricing, MOQ, lead times, and delivery schedules
• Communicate daily with suppliers (primarily via WeChat) to ensure smooth execution and issue resolution
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to support product availability and business needs
• Maintain accurate procurement documentation and supplier records
• Support ongoing supplier development and relationship management

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or trading roles
• Strong experience working with China manufacturers / suppliers (mandatory)
• Mandarin-speaking (written and spoken) to support daily supplier communication
• Prior exposure to medical consumables / PPE / healthcare products with basic product knowledge
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, agile environment with short lead times (typically ~1 week)
• Hands-on, flexible, and execution-focused mindset
• ERP / SAP experience is not required
