Senior Executive, Accounts Receivable (Mandarin Speaking) | 6-Month Contract | Petaling Jaya

Are you an AR professional with fluency in both English and Mandarin, looking for your next contract opportunity? Based in Petaling Jaya, this 6-month role sits within a Centre of Excellence AR function, supporting the China and Taiwan markets for a well-established global consumer goods organisation. You'll manage end-to-end AR processing, contribute to process migration, and thrive within a structured shared services environment.

The Role

Here's where you'll add value day to day:

• Processing AR transactions across invoicing, cash allocation, and month-end closing, in line with SLAs and KPIs
• Overseeing the full AR cycle to ensure timelines and quality targets are consistently met
• Contributing to the migration of AR functions to the Shared Services Centre
• Maintaining internal controls and ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures
• Handling location queries and escalating complex issues to the line manager where needed
• Collaborating across functions to keep integrated processes running efficiently
• Spotting and implementing process improvements, simplifications, and standardisation opportunities

What We're Looking For

Here's the profile we have in mind:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• 3-5 years of AR or accounting experience, ideally within a shared services environment
• Full professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin (written and verbal) - essential
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
• ERP system exposure; transition or ERP implementation experience is an added advantage
• Self-directed, organised, and comfortable working in a multicultural, international environment
