Senior Credit & Collection Executive | 12-Month Contract | Petaling Jaya

If you're an experienced credit and collections professional looking for your next contract move, this could be the right fit. Based in Petaling Jaya and reporting to the Accounts Receivable Team Leader, you'll play a key role in managing credit and collection activities for a well-established global consumer goods organisation. It's a hands-on role with broad exposure across accounts receivable, collections, and cross-functional collaboration.

The Role

Here's where you'll be focused day to day:

• Assessing the creditworthiness of new and existing customers, setting appropriate credit limits and terms
• Monitoring accounts receivable and driving collection activity on overdue accounts
• Resolving payment disputes with customers and structuring workable repayment arrangements
• Analysing credit exposure and implementing strategies to reduce bad debt risk
• Coordinating documentation for third-party collections, legal proceedings, and enforcement activities
• Reconciling AR records and collaborating with internal teams to address account queries and disputes

What We're Looking For

Here's the profile we have in mind:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline
• 3-5 years of experience in credit, collections, or a related finance function
• Sound knowledge of O2C, credit, and collections processes and procedures
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters with care
• Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel) and SAP Collections Module
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and calm under pressure
