Our client is a globally recognised technology company at the forefront of advanced semiconductor manufacturing. Based in Penang, they are seeking an experienced Senior Data Management Specialist to lead a critical Product Master Data domain - someone who brings both technical depth and a collaborative approach to data governance on a global scale.

The Role As part of the Global Master Data Team, you'll take ownership of a designated Product Master Data area and drive quality across the enterprise.
  • Champion data governance forums and steward accountability across global functions
  • Define and manage data quality rules, scorecards, and remediation processes
  • Curate the Business Term Glossary and maintain traceability across product lifecycle stages
  • Support Informatica IDMC/MDM360 enhancements, including UAT and cutover readiness
  • Deliver end-user training, SOPs, and job aids to build data literacy across the business
What We're Looking For You'll be a highly organised data professional who combines governance expertise with a hands-on approach.
  • 5+ years in Master Data Management (MDM) within a manufacturing environment
  • Mandatory proficiency in SAP, with strong Material Master Data knowledge; Customer and Vendor exposure is an advantage
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes including BOMs, Routing, and PLM
  • Skilled in writing SOPs, conducting end-user training, and defining data quality controls
  • Proficient in SQL, Power BI, and Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel Power Query/Pivot
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse, global stakeholders; multilingual capability is a plus
